Altadena,
CA | Overlooking Eaton
Canyon this 1920's era
California Spanish revival home has been through a number of
transitions but, fortunately, much of its original style has
been
preserved.
Designed
to entice visitors toward powerful
views, the gardens
include Mediterranean region plants that respect the surrounding
landscape, classic favorites to provide vivid color, and even
a
variety of fruit trees. Period pottery is a wonderful accent
for
unusual succulents chosen to join a colorful palette of plants
in the fountain courtyard.
To
ensure ongoing success, Melissa meets
monthly with the
property's maintenance gardeners to guide the care of the
beautiful native plants and succulents included in this design.
In
collaboration with MG Design
& Reid Construction.
